Abstract

Latar belakang: Buah naga merah memiliki aktivitas antioksidan tinggi dan stabil. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak buah naga merah hasil maserasi yang dipekatkan dengan metode keringangin. Metode: Sampel diinkubasi selama selama 3x24 jam menggunakan pelarut metanol p.a tanpa remaserasi kemudian dipekatkan dengan keringangin selama ±7 jam. Uji aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan dengan metode DPPH 0,1 mM. Sampel dikelompokkan dalam 6 konsentrasi yang berbeda masing-masing dengan 3 ulangan. Hasil: Sampel ekstrak memiliki nilai IC50 sebesar 67,45 ppm. Simpulan dan saran: Ekstrak buah naga merah memiliki aktivitas antioksidan tinggi yaitu kurang dari 200 ppm.
