Jurnal Wiyata: Penelitian Sains dan Kesehatan is a periodical journal published by LP2M IIK (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Institut Ilmu Kesehatan) Bhakti Wiyata Kediri with ISSN number 2442-6555 (online) and ISSN 2355-6498 (print). This Journal was first published online in 2015 with volume number 2, No. 1. Journal Wiyata publish various original articles related to "Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmaceutics; Profesi Kesehatan; Menejemen Informasi Kesehatan; Mikrobiologi (Medis); Imonologi dan Alergi; Kedokteran Gigi; Pelayanan Medis Emergensi; Histologi; Kesehatan Masyarakat, Kesehatan Lingkungan dan Pekerjaan; Hematologi". This journal has been indexed in Sinta 4 with Decree number: 30 /E/KPT/2019. This journal is published twice a year in June and December.
Every article that goes to the editorial staff is selected through a Preliminary Review process by considering whether the article suits the scientific scope of the journal. Manuscripts that do not comply with the writing guidelines for publication will be rejected by the editor before further review. The manuscripts that meet the specified guidelines will be subject to a peer-review Process for substantial and formatting checks. If the manuscript is improperly prepared, it will be sent back to the author for either major or minor revision. The author should resubmit the revised manuscript within one month of provisional acceptance. Based on Reviewer comments, the Editorial Board then takes a final decision to accept or reject the article for publication.

Peer Review Process
All texts sent must be in accordance with the journal writing guidelines. Journals that have been sent through our OJS will be viewed by an editorial team, and then the appropriate manuscripts will be sent for a Blind Peer review. All manuscripts must be free from the contents of plagiarism. All authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software to perform similarity checks. Right now, we don't have access to Turnitin. Manuscripts uploaded to OJS will be the responsibility of the author. Any plagiarism will be the responsibility of the author.
The editor will help in general check the detection of plagiarism in articles in this journal by using the Grammarly® Plagiarism Checker.
Articles sent to this journal will be assessed by the review team and do an examination of whether the manuscript is worthy of publication or not. Research articles submitted to this journal will be reviewed by at least 1 (one) or more expert reviewers. The reviewers gave valuable scientific comments to improve the contents of the text.
The final decision of whether the manuscript is accepted for publication is under the authority of the editorial head regarding the editorial board. Articles received will be available online after the peer-review process.

Journal History
Jurnal Wiyata: Penelitian Sains dan Kesehatan was first published in 2014 in the form of print and began to get an ISSN in 2015, the same year the Jurnal Wiyata: Penelitian Sains dan Kesehatan began to switch to online publishing using an independent web www.iik.ac .id. After getting guidance through OJS training, Journal Wiyata: Science and Health Research began to flow into the OJS system. In the course of this journal, the shape of the main cover was changed once. In addition, this Journal has also changed the template/style of writing from the initial two columns in Volume 1 to Volume 4, No. 1. After Volume 4, No. 2 in 2017, this journal began to adhere to a one-column style. This is due to internal editor problems and the board switching editors. In addition, this journal is still in the pioneering stage, with various problems that occur related to the number of articles in each issue. Initially, this journal still adheres to the print system, so what is pursued is the number of pages in each issue. However, after receiving online journal training, this journal began to be published from Volume 5, Number 1 in 2018, to Volume 6, Number 2 in 2019, with 7 articles in each issue. Then, in volume 7, Numbers 1 and 2 contained 10 articles, and in volume 8, Number 1 had 12 articles. In August 2025, the Wiyata Journal: Science and Health Research was upgraded from OJS 2 to OJS 3.
